COOKING IS MEDITATIVE !!!! Any activity which takes your whole attention – especially if it's simple and repetitive – can have a calming, meditative quality. Meditation means awareness. Whatever you do with awareness is meditation. "Watching your breath" is meditation; listening to the birds is meditation. As long as these activities are free from any other distraction to the mind, it is effective meditation. While cooking knowingly or unknowingly we are doing meditation , If we are giving whole concentration and having full awareness on what we are cooking. It has great advantages also If we do meditation while cooking.Some are as follows which personally felt during cooking.
