Beetroot the blessing of nature
Beetroot Halwa :) This is possibly one of the easiest sweet you could think off apart from carrot halwa. I loved it so much, it tasted so rich and yummy. Preparation Time: 10 mins Cooking Time: 30 mins Serves: 4 Ingredients : Beetroots - 2 or 3 peeled and grated (around 2 cups) Ghee - 2 big tsp Milk - 1 cup Organic Sugar - 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup Cashews a handful Directions : 1. Wash the beetroots in running water. Peel them and cut from the bottom. 2. Grate them using a grater or food processor. 3. Make sure the beetroot make thicker strands. 4. Add ghee in a kadhai and add grated beetroot. 5. Saute for 8-10 minutes over medium flame. 6. Add 1 cup milk 7. When the mixture turns thick, add sugar. 8.
