My weight loss secret - "CONQUER YOUR MIND, YOU CAN CONQUER ANYTHING"

CONQUER YOUR MIND, YOU CAN CONQUER ANYTHING

Getting healthy and losing weight doesn’t start in your kitchen or in your gym—it starts in your mind. Once you get yourself in the right place mentally—you can start to make lasting change. And that’s where a lot of people make the mistake: They skip the mental part! You have to WIN the mental game of weight loss first! Your power is in your
 mind!

Here I am sharing few ingredients and tips which help me in losing weight.

1.WATER

There are many benefits of drinking water. You can consume water in any form. Early morning I used to have warm lemon water, sometimes cumin, fennel, ajwain water according to your body need.Studies show that drinking water raises your metabolism and improves your fat burning rate.So if your goal is to lose weight, drinking water for weight loss is a Smart move.

2. WHEAT GRASS

Regular consumption of wheat grass helps stimulate the thyroid gland, which boosts metabolism, provide more energy and aids in weight loss.

Loaded with nutrients, wheatgrass ensures that body doesn’t crave food items to compensate for a lack of vitamins or minerals. A wheatgrass supplement every morning prevent overeating throughout the day.

Precautions: Consuming small quantity and organic wheat grass is considered safe. You can get organic wheat grass in a good store. Or If u don’t find organic store reply me in the comment section. Will try to avail you.

3. FLAX SEEDS

When you’re on a weight-loss track, you simply can’t ignore the slimming benefits of flax seeds. But always remember to consume organic and ground flax seed(NOT THE WHOLE SEEDS), as they pass through your digestive system without being digested. You can use flaxseed powder in your any recipes or sprinkle flaxseed over your veggies, salads, yogurt and use it in many delicious ways.

4.YOGA AS A DISCIPLINE

I am aware that most people may come to Yoga simply as a means to stretch, relax, work out and chill out. That's fine and Yoga is a great form of body work. However, in this discussion, I wish also to inspire others to consider Yoga as a means to working more deeply on one being, a means of transformation of one's being in terms of spiritual growth and development.

Yoga requires practice, it requires discipline and in order to perfect one's art one needs to apply effort, will and determination. We need to come back again and again to our practice, repeated the same movements, again and again, looking to work more effectively, more deeply each time, or simply see where we are this time.

5. MEDITATE YOUR BREATHING

“Sustainable weight loss is not about tricking or forcing your body to be thin. It’s about changing your body from the inside out so your body actually wants to be thin. Visualization and meditation are the most effective tools I know to help you get started.”- Jon Gabriel

Meditation is a highly effective and enjoyable way to create inner peace, gain control over your body and mind, and awaken higher consciousness. Meditation is one of the best ways to connect with your inner world and harness the vast power of your subconscious. You can then direct this power for whatever purpose you desire.

If you don’t know how to do meditation or you feel bored about mediation than Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit or lie down. First, take a normal breath. Then try a deep breath: Breath in slowly through your nose, allowing your chest and lower belly to rise as you fill your lungs. Let your abdomen expand fully. Now breathe out slowly through your mouth (or your nose, if that feels more natural).

Deep diaphragmatic breathing is one of the simplest yet most effective ways of improving one’s health with the least amount of cost and time investment.

Few points to remember –

· Cravings are temporary, you control them and you are over it.
· Sweet cravings can be met by simply having healthier sweets like dates or a Carrot kheer made in skimmed milk with sugar to taste.
· Remember and stick to your goal. When you are focused towards your weight loss goals, cravings will definitely be controlled.
· Keep yourself busy to combat thinking about cravings. An empty mind is a devil’s workshop
· Stay active and exercise regularly. All the effort put into exercise won’t leave you craving for unhealthy foods.
· Munching doesn’t coincide with junk! It can also mean munching over healthy stuff like salads, fruits, roasted chanas, roasted makhanas, almonds, sprouts, etc which make a good snack.
· Stay cheerful and happy! Avoid emotional eating! It is definitely not a solution to cheering up but will make you depressed when you stand on the weighing scale.
